I've made a short film of the end of Chapter One. Adam gets home, the house is expecting him, and the lock gives the moment he touches the handle. It's on the home page and on X.
The words on screen are the chapter pared down to a minute, so they don't match the text line for line. The chapter itself hasn't changed.
The paintings were generated from written descriptions, all in one watercolour style, with each part painted separately (the sky, the house, the door, the hand on the handle) so the camera can move between them. Everything that moves is written in code: the camera, the sun going down, the haze, the door camera's lens, the seam of light, the type and the sound. I made it with Claude. I chose the words and the look; Claude built the rest.
